I made this chocolate ombre cake with swiss buttercream icing for my friend Iris’s birthday ! I probably should have used a different tip to write Happy 22 but I couldn’t find it 😦 I broke two mixers making the icing for this cake (crappy Hello Kitty ones) so it wasn’t as well blended as it should have been. I also did not have a 1M tip so my swirls weren’t as big and cool but I was pleased with the ombre effect (only wish I had done just one more darker/est row on the bottom and shifted everything up so there was less white). All in all success, and the crowd loved it.
The crowd definitely loved it and the cake tasted as good as it looked!
